Via Afrika Social Sciences Grade 7 Learner’s Book is a CAPS-aligned Social Sciences textbook designed to introduce Intermediate Phase learners to the basics of Geography and History.

The book is divided into two main sections. The Geography section covers topics such as maps and map skills, continents and oceans, population, environments, and basic human–environment interactions. The History section introduces early societies, ancient civilizations, and how people lived and developed over time, with an emphasis on sources and historical thinking skills.
